Watts Leaf Architects, PA is a diversified architectural firm located in Charlotte, North Carolina. The principals are Charles M. Watts, AIA and Chip Leaf, AIA. 

The firm designs various types of buildings including single family, multifamily, commercial office buildings, restaurants, retail upfits, office upfits, and renovations. Clients include developers, single building clients, contractors (design-build), and public groups. 

Charley Watts is a registered architect with twenty five years of architectural experience. This includes nine years with his own firm, Charles Watts Architecture. Although specializing in multifamily housing, Mr. Watts has experience in restaurant design, single family houses, commercial, buildings, industrial projects, and churches. His degree is in architecture from the University of Virginia and is certified by the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards. He is a member of the national, state, and local American Institute of Architects and is registered in North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, Georgia, Maryland, and Kentucky. He was appointed by the Mecklenburg County Commissioners to the Building Development Commission, a public private group over the Building Department.

Chip Leaf is a registered architect with twenty six years of experience who believes in client service and quality design. His experience includes his practice of architecture as principal of Leaf Architecture. In 1997 Charley Watts and Chip Leaf combined offices to form Watts Leaf Architects, PA. His architectural degree is from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and is certified by the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards. He is a member of the American Institute of Architects, at the national, state and local levels. Current registration include North Carolina, South Carolina, Florida, and Tennessee. His continuing education includes participating in the Opening All Doors Program for ADA sponsored by the AIA. 

Some clients include Wood Partners, BNP Residential Properties, Crosland Properties, Marsh Associates, Biltmark Builders, Trammell Crow Residential, Yager Construction, and many smaller but important clients. The firm has a history of work that has been featured in both regional and national publications.
